Enlarge your workspace : Part 1

Working in a small workspace will sometime make you feel breathlessness. This is what happened when you use the PMS and care plan module. With the Queue Manager pane on the right side, Episodes pane on the left and the Care Plan Report at the bottom, there is only a small space left in the middle of the screen for you to carry out your work.

The easiest way to enlarge the workspace is by collapsing any of the panes. Just click on the thumb pin icon and the pane will minimise towards the edge and left a small tab. When you want to maximise the pane again just move your mouse on the pane tab and it will re-appear.

But what if you accidentally click on the cross icon? The whole pane will dissappear instead of collapse to the edge. So how can you get back the pane? Don’t worry you can still get the pane back by clicking on the windows commands on the taskbar.

Welcome To TPC

Klinik Kesihatan Lanang has newly join of the Ministry of Health Teleprimary Care (TPC) family. The installation of the basic hardware completed in December 2005 and staff training was conducted twice in March 2006. Now we are ready to use the software.

I myself have started using TPC software early this month (March 2006). One of the big challenges that I find when using TPC is the fact that you have to change the way you work. For those who never have any exposure to computer before, they have to learn something about it. They must acquire a new skill especially using the keyboard and holding the ‘running’ mouse.

While there is existing mailing group discussing about TPC, most of the time the discussion are focused on the problems, bugs buster and technical problems encountered by the user. Very few discussed on tips and tricks that can make TPC more convenience to the user. This blog is dedicated to all the TPC user who desire to improve their working skill. Lets make TPC project a succes story.
